Personally, I like SFSU and I would give it an 8/10. Academically, it’s a great school because the professors really care about you and your success in the class. They really are passionate about teaching. A lot of the professors I’ve had so far have a great connection with the students. They aren’t those type of professors who just came to teach because they have to and be like “peace out” at the end of class. They are always willing to set up extra office hours in case you were having complications in class or have conferences with you so they can tell you what you can do to improve your grades. 

Socially, it’s not as great as other schools since SFSU is a commuter school, but it’s still pretty social. You just have to put yourself out there. Living on campus is a great way to meet A LOT of people. I live on campus and I met SO MANY people. Every weekend, you get texts for party addresses and every one in he housing community pretty much rages every friday and saturday night. You should think about joining sororities as well, I’m sure you’d like it. Everyone hangs out at Malcolm X and the Student Center so thats the spot to socialize. Sororities, Frats, Clubs, and Organizations are out there almost everyday tabling. Campus is so much more alive during the Spring semester because of the rain and bad weather during the last 2 months of Fall semester.
