You are cutting another $250 Million within the CSUs. And that’s just a minimum. Students are drowning in fuckin debt and you guys can’t do positive shit but cut more and more budget. I’m pissed cause I’ma have to deal with this for the next 4 years. Tuition rates will go up higher, it’s going to be harder to get classes, and it’ll take longer to graduate. You’re our State Legislatures, Representatives, and Senators man…you should be putting our education first on your priorities. We need you to make the student’s of California your top priority by helping to invest in our future and the future of California.

Write an email to the State and express your thoughts and opinions. Persuade them to pass the bill, because if it doesn’t get passed, that’s another $250 Million in budget cuts out of the CSU’s:

My presentation went really well. 

I met up with one of my former internship employers and got offered a job in San Francisco. Since I’m going to SFSU this fall, she gave me her business card and told me to give her a call when I’m ready.

I also met up with a former school principal from middle school and said that I should definitely come back to Thomas Russell Middle School and be a guest for the 8th Grade Exit Interviews next year. 

Job offer and asked to be a guest in one day..damn. Feels so good.

4 years ago I was entering high school and living off my parents.

In 3 months I’ll be off on my own at SFSU going to school and working, making my own money, and spending it for my own purposes.

$13,571 in grants/scholarships, $4,500 in student loans, $4,000 in work study, and another part-time job. Lets see what this will get me.
